LTPA RULES and GUIDELINES

These are the general rules and guidelines for the Lake Travis Power Boat Association.

ENTRY FEES: $50.00 per Member. $100.00 per non-member. Members must present membership card at time of purchase.

One free shirt with each purchased hand.

WINNINGS: Distributed between the two highest and the lowest hand. Winnings will be 50% of total entry fees collected and distributed as follows:

* Best Hand: 50%    5 of a kind

* Next Best Hand: 30%    Royal flush

* Lowest Hand: 20%    6,4,3,2,1 (Not of same suite)

CARDS: May be drawn at any location. If multiple cards are drawn at one stop, player cannot drop drawn card back into box until all desired cards have been drawn. No more than 3 cards may be drawn at stops one, two or three. You may draw five cards at the final stop. Final card must be drawn at last stop. No restrictions on number of hands purchased. You must be in line by 5:30 to draw the last card. When the last person in line draws the final card the poker run is over. No one will be allowed to draw a card after that point. You do not have to be present to win. Once the last person in line has drawn, the winners will be calculated and the prize money awarded.

DOCKING: Some locations may have limited docking. Rafting off may be necessary. Please do not walk along the back of any boat with your shoes on.

NO WAKE ZONES: Respect no wake zones and utilize your silent choice if you have it.

MARINA/RESTAURANTS: While at marinas and restaurants please obey the rules and patronize these businesses by utilizing their food and drink facilities.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Consumption of alcoholic beverages inside or outside of your boat while tied off or rafted to the marina/restaurant properties is illegal and will not be tolerated. Floating in the water at the marina/restaurants while possessing any form of alcohol is also not allowed. These marinas and restaurants host our poker runs. We are guests. Please respect the law while at their establishments.

SAFETY: Do not travel more than two boats abreast when traveling between poker destinations. Please be courteous and responsible to others on the lake.

By purchasing a hand, you agree to allow LTPA and its photographer to publish any pictures for promotional purposes at no cost or consideration to LTPA or its photographer.  These purposes include, but are not limited to, the posting of the pictures on the LTPA website as well as posters and brochures.
